The short version: ProxyRouter is a local macOS app. It routes your network traffic but never sends your browsing history, the contents of your proxied traffic, or your rules to us. License checks happen offline, on your device.
What we collect
Only what's necessary when you use accounts and purchasing:
- Your account email — for sign-in (email codes) and delivering your license.
- Purchase records — plan, status, amount, date — shown on your account page.
- A machine identifier — a hash of your Mac's hardware UUID (never the raw UUID) — for seat management; you can unbind it on your account page.
What we don't collect
- Your proxied traffic, the sites you visit, or your DNS queries.
- Your rules, profiles, or proxy credentials — those live only on your device.
- Behavioral analytics or ad tracking.
Third parties

Payment details (card numbers, etc.) are handled by Paddle; we never see or store them.
Retention & your rights
Account and purchase data is kept until you ask us to delete it. You can contact us anytime to export or delete your data. Deleting your account does not revoke an already-issued offline license.
